James Rodriguez out for 2 months
When ever I want reliable information about my favorite soccer team Real Madrid I always go to ESPNFC.COM because they always have the latest news and they are known for being the best source of communication for sports news. This is a soccer specific website from ESPN that was created due to the huge popularity of soccer here in the US. and around the world. I'm a huge fan of the Spanish soccer and it's not easy to find accurate information anywhere but this website is a great way to follow Spanish soccer in this country and I can always be sure that most likely the information will be correct.
1. In this specific article one can see the use of video, audio, print, photography and social media. By using video and audio we can get an insight from two commentators how the injury of James Rodriguez will affect Real Madrid's next game against Atletico Madrid. They talk about the strengths and weaknesses that Real Madrid might have for the upcoming game and how this injury couldn't have come at a worst time since there were other very important players of the team injured. The print part of this article gives a much detailed story of how the injury happened. The photography that we see in this article shows the talent of James Rodriguez. The video portion of this article helps us understand the impact going forward of the player's injury on the team whereas the print portion talks about the past and how the injury happened.
2. Personally, I think the video/audio portion of this article is the strongest because it shows us the information on a short, consisted and effective manner allowing the reader to have a better idea of what's going to happen in the next game. The video/audio is only 2 minutes and 15 seconds which is very convenient for someone who's going through the website and wants to hear this information quickly. Also, the fact that there are commentators interacting with each other it gives the reader a more approachable feeling. The print in this article is also very short and informative and reliable which keeps me going back to this website whenever I'm ever looking for up to date news on my favorite soccer teams.
3. The only thing that I would add to this article would be a very short clip in the video/audio portion on how the injury happened. Because it brings to the reader a sense of compassion and sympathy for the player.
