Bobbi Kristina Brown in Coma, Breathing With Help of Ventilator
Bobbi
Kristina Brown daughter of Pop start Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was found
face down in her bathtub on Saturday, January 31st.
As the weekend
approaches Bobby Brown is facing one of the hardest decision of his life. By
the end of the weekend he will have to decide whether to disconnect his
daughter from life support or not.
Many people want to
know what's happening and how the family is coping with this unfortunate
situation and I think that the NBC website had a great article.
I chose to read about this story on NBC because I have the app
on my phone and I consider their information reliable.
I proceeded to read the story on the website and not the app
because I was unable to see the video.
The website shows pictures, a short and informative article and
a two minute video recap of the story aired on TV. In the video there's also a
highlight of Oprah's interview with Bobbi Kristina after the death of Whitney
Houston.

I really enjoyed the short video because it gave the public an
insight on how Bobbi Kristina was feeling/reacting to her mother’s passing. The
video also shows how some family members are reacting to her current
condition.
At the end of the article it shows tweets and it gives the
public a chance to comment and tweet about the subject.
I like this website because it gives concise information. It's
straight forward and to the point. I started looking at the same story on TMZ
(which I also really like) but I didn't like that I had to click on different
articles to get the whole story.
I feel that TMZ is a good gossip website, and their main
audience is teens and young people. I'm not saying that their information is
unreliable, but it does give a different vibe.
On the other hand I feel like the way NBC reported the same
story had a completely different feel. It was more grown up, intended for an
older audience, yet it was short enough to keep you reading and watching the
entire article.
The way the
information is distributed is very tasteful and informative. I think that the
layout of the story is on point. I wouldn't change it or ask for anything more.
They provided a background of who she is, what happened, and how she's doing.
NBC also gathered information from family and previous interviews which brought
the whole story together.
Overall I think that
having the TV story video on the website along with the story was a great
choice. I feel this website is intended for people that want accurate and
reliable information instead of gossip (like many celebrity websites).
